Keith Grothaus, CCIM, SIOR

Keith Grothaus contributes more than 25 years of successful real estate experience to Caldwell Companies’. Keith is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for real estate land investment portfolios and individual properties. In addition to owner representation, Keith works as a buyer’s representative to locate and assist with the acquisition of property for new residential and commercial developments and/or investments. Keith has handled more than $300,000,000 in real estate transactions over the last six years. In 2021, Keith was recognized as a "Heavy Hitter" by the Houston Business Journal where he ranked #16 in the Land Brokerage category.

Keith is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and an active member and past president of the CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter. He is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and Past President of Local SIOR Chapter 2009-2010, the Houston Association of Realtors (National, Texas, and Houston), Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, Board Member of the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), The Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Commercial Service and Investment Divisions of the Houston Association of Realtors. He is an active member of St. Justin Martyr, where he is the Music Director and the past Chairman of the Building Committee.

Prior to joining Caldwell Companies in 1994, he was Vice President of Commercial Brokerage for TIPS in Texas Real Estate, Inc. Keith’s extended experience and training make him highly valuable in meeting clients’ real estate and marketing needs. Through his extraordinary efforts in 1998, Keith received the Caldwell Companies’ Top Lister Award as well as the Top Team Transaction Award.  Keith was also recognized as Top Producer for Caldwell in 2006.

Keith was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He and his wife, Mary Lou, live in West Houston with their two daughters, Brittany and Katie. Keith is an avid cyclist and rides in the MS150 each year, a ride that foregoes raising money to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.  Keith has raised more than $100,000.00 over the last nine years.  In his free time, Keith enjoys fishing, golf and playing the guitar.
