Karla will serve as our new MUD Administrator and will be responsible for managing the BAN/Bond issuance process, accumulate costs to be included in the issuance, be a liaison with engineering firms and auditors, prepare district/developer bond reports, create and reconcile developer bond reimbursable costs, reconcile MUD sub-ledgers to general ledger monthly, verify MUD bond audits, loan draw applications, property tax reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. When it comes to anything related to MUD, Karla makes sure Caldwell is clean.

Karla has an Associate’s Degree from MTI College of Business and Technology and eight years working for a MUD bookkeeping firm, handling responsibilities for over 24 individual districts. She is Investment Training Certified – Public Funds Investment Training 10 hours, Director (Secretary) on a MUD Board located in Katy and serves as a Director on an HOA board Katy.

Karla’s family includes her husband and a teenage daughter and son. She’s a lover of dogs and most all animals and loves to foster and rehabilitate dogs. Karla is also bilingual in Spanish.
