Randy Young

As the Director of Operations, Randy Young is
responsible for ensuring that the projects in Caldwell Companies' development portfolio are completed
on time and within budget. Randy coordinates with
development consultants such as engineers, architects,
land planners, landscape architects, as well as
any governmental / regulatory agencies having jurisdiction
over the projects. He also plays an integral role
in the identification and acquisition of land properties
for future development projects, as well as the
sale of land, either as finished lots or acreage
parcels. Randy is also responsible for maintaining
builder relations.
Prior to joining Caldwell Companies, Randy was a Land
Development Project Manager at Richfield Investment
Corporation where he was responsible for managing
and / or developing more than 3,000 acres of land
in the Houston and Dallas / Fort Worth Markets. He
brings a wealth of knowledge in pre-development due-diligence
and project feasibility analyses, as well a development
cost and revenue analysis for all aspects / phases
of project development.
Randy is an active member of the community, affiliated
with such organizations as the Urban Land Institute,
National Association of Home Builders, Texas Association
of Builders, the Texas A&M Association of Former
Students, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
where he is a member of the Steer Auction Committee.
Randy is also involved on the Greater Houston Builders
Association's Community Developers' Council.
Randy lives in Sugar Land, and enjoys hunting, fishing,
motorcycling, and spending time with his American
Bulldog, Rocco.
